The fundacio’s letter n°2

Flowers are the most visible attribute to a group of plants called « angiosperms », from the Greek name « seeds in a bowl ». Flowers are also holding the reproductive organs and are where will arise from fecundation.
Ok this is not a parable. I don’t like them anyway. It comes from my evangelical upbringing. I’ll tell you all about it in my newsletter.
Anyway, I was looking for a running machine on the web. But I should start from the beginning.  I had the chance to meet the great filmmaker Melvin van Peebles after the theatre adaptation in Paris, of his genius work Sweet sweetback's baadass song. With interest and a real nice he told me I should call him. And what’s more we are neighbours. 

I though it would be great to have coffee with him, but also to have him at the Fundacion, maybe even with the pianist Bobby Few. Then I though of a filmed performance i wanted to do in Africa: Running 
Yes, if I were a collector I’d love to have a large projection of someone running between baobabs, looking straight at the camera. It would be on during a diner, or a reception. The ministry of culture didn’t accept the project and a few years later Urs Luthi was running for the Venice Biennale. Is it because he is bigger?
But what is it dealing with? asks the girl in charge of preparing the funding meetings
-Hue ? Loosing weight, maybe.
We’re in a party after the launch of a magazine on cultural with Senegal. I’ll tell you more about it later, in my newsletter. I’m with a friend who wears her homosexuality quite clearly  - that is with codes. One male participant is chatting her up. Running.

So, I was looking for my running machine on the web, when I found a group called Critical Run asking if artists had a role in today’s society. On the 11/02/10, clothes designer A McQueen was hanging himself in his wardrobe.
On the 7/05/10, in France, on the same TV channel I told you about last time, the documentary Sainte Anne, Psychiatric Hospital, at 11pm made the best market share of the year in the section big documentaries. with 3.9% de parts de marché, and 419 000 viewers. But what does it deal with? 
And by the way why do a lot of people still believe that Jesus was born from a virgin mother, when nearly nobody believes it for Socrates who actually claimed it too?
I called Saïd about the shows at the fundacion, he asked me if I had dates, then he answered himself that there were quite nought during Ramadan.

So, what should I do, call Melvin and tell him about a running performance.
I’m thinking. Re-reading notes. And checking out stuff. I read that Kadhafi pays his all females’ audience to listen to his lectures in Italy. I’m offered a running machine on sale.
